About Bearsden Art Club
The club holds its monthly programme of lectures and demonstrations at Kilmardinny House, an important A listed mansion refurbished in 2017 by East Dunbartonshire Leisure and Culture Trust.
Membership is open to those over 21 and is limited to 200 persons. Although preference for membership is given to those resident in Bearsden and Milngavie, those resident in some neighbouring postcodes are also eligible for full membership.
We support the Lillie Art Gallery in Milngavie and our annual exhibition is held there every spring, during which our members participate in an artists in residence scheme. Visitors to the gallery are able to see some of our members painting, when not chatting to visitors who want to know more about us. Please visit our annual exhibition, usually held in April and May each year. Opening times are on the Lillie Art Gallery website.
